Plane with 19 onboard crashes in Nepal's Tribhuvan International Airport, resque by Nepal Army
On July 24, Wednesday 11 am Saurya Airlines Plane with 19 onboard crashes in Nepal's Tribhuvan International Airport, in Nepal, Kathmandu.
Initial reports suggests the aircraft skidded off the runway during takeoff, resulting in an accident.
The plane, en route to Pokhara, was carrying nineteen people, including the aircrew, when the accident occurred around 11 a.m., according to Premnath Thakur, TIA spokesperson.Rescue operations are currently underway at the site, led by police and firefighters.
