On July 22, multinational ships sailed in formation off the coast of Hawaii as part of Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2024. This significant maritime event, involving 29 nations, featured 40 surface ships, three submarines, and 150 aircraft, alongside 14 national land forces and 25,000 personnel. Taking place from June 27 to August 1 in and around the Hawaiian Islands, RIMPAC 2024 marks the 29th iteration of the world's largest international maritime exercise.

RIMPAC aims to enhance cooperative relationships among participating nations, crucial for safeguarding sea lanes and ensuring global maritime security. The exercise provides a unique training opportunity for naval and air forces to practice interoperability and readiness in a multinational environment.
