USA: Central Alameda Husky Shot
Los Angeles, USA - July 25, 2024
07/24/2024 10:00 pm (GMT-0700) | CENTRAL-ALAMEDA, LOS ANGELES – A husky known as the "33rd Street Husky" by local residents was shot by either a .22 or a pellet gun Wednesday evening. The incident occurred on the 1100 block of East 33rd Street. LAPD Newton Division officers responded to reports of the dog being shot in the area. Officers located the animal in the street and requested animal services to the location. Witnesses in the area stated that they heard and saw a suspect in a sedan firing the unknown weapon at the dog. The dog is fed and cared for by most of the neighbors on the street that we spoke to off camera. A good Samaritan was seen in the area trying to capture the animal to get it help at a local shelter.
