Continued High Temperatures Continue to Cause Increases in Number and Severity of Wildfires. Videos of the Shetland Creek Fire in British Columbia's Fraser Canyon are here. Taken on the evening and overnight on August 01 and 02, 2024. As the fire breached the top of the mountain, it continued moving towards Spences Bridge. This is only about 20 minutes north of the town of Lytton which was destroyed in the wildfires of 2021.
