On July 20, 2024, a potentially tragic situation unfolded in Laizhou, Yantai, Shandong, eastern China, when a swallow's nest capable of housing several birds unexpectedly fell. The filmer, Weiming, who discovered the nest with a large hole that seemed challenging to repair, expressed concern over the fate of the nestlings.

Initially troubled by the discovery of two fledglings behind a door who could not yet fly, especially during a heavy rainstorm, the filmer feared for their safety from drowning or cat predation.

Prompted by urgency and a combination of resolve and hands-on skill, the filmer quickly constructed a new nest. The effort paid off as the young swallows were successfully reunited with their mother, ensuring their safety and continuing care.
