The Haifa Emergency Command Center was activated on Oct. 7, 2023, and operates 24/7.
It is designed to withstand missiles, rockets, and biochemical attacks.
The center monitors the city in real-time to swiftly respond to any incidents.

"Right now, I'm at the Rambam Health Care Campus in northern Israel, and this whole parking lot has been transformed into a 1,200-bed medical facility."
The Rambam Health Care Campus has three underground emergency medical floors.
It is reinforced to accommodate up to 8,000 people and can operate independently for up to three days with substantial reserves of water, food, power, and oxygen.
