Fights break out at Notting Hill Carnival as event begins to wind down on final day
Tempers flared on the Notting Hill Carnival parade route as a fight broke out on Ladbroke Grove between men and women who exchanged punches (August 26).
Police intervened to separate the two parties, when suddenly one of the men who had a bloodied nose made a break for it and ran towards the crowd in an effort to get away.
A bystander claimed the man had a knife about his person, and called out, 'What's in your hand!'
In another incident a man was seen being led away by friends as he raised a fist at another party on a parade truck, in an effort to stop him from fighting.
