A customer claimed a delivery rider from one of India's biggest grocery store app stole milk from her steps.

Pooja Sawant said she noticed milk packets, usually delivered outside her door by an online store, went missing for four days in Mumbai.

When she watched the security camera, she saw a delivery rider allegedly taking them as he left the apartment building.

CCTV footage shows a man picking up the milk from the stairs and putting him onto his bag before leaving on August 12.

Pooja said: ‘I live in Mumbai, and for the past three to four days, a Zepto delivery guy has been robbing me of milk in my building.'

The customer added she reached out to Zepto.

She said: ‘I felt my concerns were not being addressed adequately.'

Pooja also contacted another app where she has been taking orders from, Swiggy, but claimed its customer care hotlines were unresponsive as well.

Zepto is an online grocery app that promises to deliver orders in ten minutes or less while Swiggy is an Indian online food delivery company.
