Meet Perseus, the dalmatian pup with heart-shaped spots around his eyes
Meet Perseus - an adorable dalmatian pup with heart-shaped spots around his eyes.
Owner Chloe Neff, 26, picked up Perseus, also known as Percy, from a breeder in March last year when he was just eight weeks old.
Chloe knew Percy had heterochromia -
a condition which means he has different coloured eyes - when she picked him up.
But she didn't notice they were in the shape of a heart until later.
Chloe, a dog groomer from Baltimore, Maryland, USA, said: "He is the most outgoing, goofiest, sweetest, cuddliest, all around amazing dog."
"The coolest outcome from his eyes has definitely been him becoming so popular online overnight."
"I knew they were cute but I didn't think they'd be that popular."
With this heart-shaped spots and his blue and brown eyes, Percy is already making quite the name for himself in American Kennel Club (AKC) circles.
Chloe has entered him in several local dog shows and he has won several titles.
He has won Best of Breed at the Mason and Dixon Kennel Club and the Chambersburg Area Kennel Club as well as Best of Winners at Southern Maryland Kennel Club.
Chloe said: "His breeder has puppies that are of high enough purebred quality that they can be shown in AKC Conformation shows."
"I was getting him so I could compete in Conformation with him!"
"He is already an AKC Champion, but is currently taking a break while he matures and will return to shows when he turns two."
