US: Val Verde 2 Killed in Shooting
Los Angeles, United States - September 22, 2024
09/22/2024 06:39 pm (GMT-0700) | VAL VERDE, Calif. – Two people were killed in a shooting at a home in the 28800 block of Paradise Road in Val Verde.
One person was transported to an area hospital via ambulance, according to Supervising Fire Dispatcher Michael Pittman with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The incident was first reported to 911 operators at 6:39 p.m. as a shooting between a father and his son, with both subjects suffering from gunshot wounds.
Deputies arrived on the scene a few moments later with paramedics from Fire Station 149. The two people were pronounced dead at the scene, and a third person was rushed to a trauma center shortly after.
The incident remains under investigation at this time by the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station.
