In a shocking daylight robbery in western India’s Gujarat, a woman with her face covered by a scarf stole a bag containing 28 kg of silver.

The incident took place at Sardar Chowk near a jewellery shop in the Krishna Nagar area of Ahmedabad on October 9.

Visuals showed a man standing by the roadside with the bag of silver placed on his scooter. Suddenly, the woman approached from behind, grabbed the heavy bag, and ran. She briefly stumbled due to the weight but quickly recovered. Her accomplice was waiting on a bike nearby, and after climbing on, the two fled the scene.

According to reports, a complaint has been filed at Krishna Nagar police station, and local authorities, along with the Crime Branch, are actively searching for the culprits. According to the complaint, the man had two bags—one containing 28 kg of silver and the other 16 kg.
