Remains of World War 2 Nazi swastika painted on the wall of the Italian Radio Headquarters on the Island of Leros
While on holiday on the Greek island of Leros I was made aware that there were remains of a Nazi Swastika on the wall of the Italian Radio Communication building. The building is abandoned and looks like it hasn’t been used since the end of World War 2. This has been here for over 80 years and is slowing deteriorating and fading away. Leros was captured by the Germans after the Italians capitulated and the subsequent Battle of Leros with British Forces in 1943. I have more footage of the building and the radio towers.
