STORYLINE:
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and visiting Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha vowed in Ankara on Monday to advance the partnership between the two countries.
He made the remarks at a joint press conference following his meeting with Sybiha.

"Ties between Türkiye and Ukraine continue to grow with confidence, despite the challenges presented by the war. Our multidimensional cooperation is advancing day by day."
Fidan also reaffirmed Türkiye's willingness to contribute to peace efforts on the Ukraine crisis.
Sybiha said the two countries "aim to build a secure and strong relationship based on mutual interests," and stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation in the defense industry.
Sybiha later published a post on X, saying, "We discussed advancing our strategic partnership," among other topics.
Sybiha was appointed Ukraine's new foreign minister in early September during a cabinet reshuffle.
