On October 20, in Kaifeng, Henan, a young man created a pulse cannon that, after mimicking a shooting motion, caused flames to shoot out from an ordinary water bucket, giving off a strong sci-fi vibe. The effect was even more striking when viewed in the dark.

The young man explained that it took him about 10 days to build the pulse cannon using everyday materials like water pipes and a bucket. He filled the pipe with butane gas, utilising its slow combustion speed to gradually transfer the energy to the gas inside the bucket, which instantly ignited, creating the fire-spouting effect.

He also mentioned that he conducted several tests during the creation process to ensure the safety of the device. However, he cautioned others not to attempt making or imitating the pulse cannon, as it carries certain risks.
