To promote smart firefighting, the Hong Kong Fire Services Department signed Tuesday a memorandum of understanding with China Mobile Hong Kong Company Limited (CMHK). This cooperation is aimed at enhancing emergency management in Hong Kong and better safeguarding citizens.
The two partners will explore the feasibility of empowering firefighting teams with technologies such as artificial intelligence, drones, indoor positioning systems, thermal imaging, and the Internet of Things.
