VIDEO - Dad tries to hit kid with snowball but topples over and lands on back
A dad tried to hit his son with a snowball before toppling over and landing on his back - "damaging his pride". "
David Oakes, 41, was playing in the snow in his garden with his wife, Hannah, 33, and their two children - Millie, five, and Jacob, nine.
The family scooped up handfuls of snow before scrunching it into balls and launching them at each other.
But when David tried to hit his son with a snowball, he slipped on a snow covered grass and fell on his back - after trying to take revenge on his son, who attempted to hit him with a snowball.
Hannah recorded the funny moment on November 18.
Hannah, a personal assistant, from St Helens, Merseyside, said: "We were just playing in the front garden in the snow. "
"My little boy threw a snowball but missed and my husband saw the opportunity to get him back."
"He fell in the snow, and he slipped on his back and one flip flop flew over my head and the other went flying in the air. "
"He wanted to get our son back, but he slipped over mid throw."
Everyone involved saw the funny side and luckily no injuries were sustained.
Hannah said: "He's all good. He did say the night before that he imagined falling over in the snow and he did. "
"He's absolutely fine apart from his pride."
