Lake Stevens, United States - November 20, 2024 A powerful storm has brought down multiple trees across the Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue district, knocking out power and posing serious safety risks. One of the hardest-hit areas is the 9200 block of 4th St SE in Lake Stevens, where fallen trees have tangled with power lines, leaving sections of the town without electricity. Emergency services are urging residents to stay clear of fallen power lines and to call PUD for any downed lines. “If the tree is on fire and sparking, call 911 immediately,” officials warned, emphasizing the potential danger as the storm continues to rage. With trees still hanging precariously on power lines, authorities are urging the public to exercise extreme caution. The storm’s fury shows no signs of letting up.
