This is the amusing moment pet dogs rode in a motorcycle sidecar with their family.

Dar Phiennapha and her two dogs, Kajok, a four-year-old Lao Apso, and Pawan, a two-year-old American Bully, enjoyed a road trip around their neighbourhood in Vientiane, Laos, on November 19.

Footage shows the well-behaved canines sitting on the sidecar floor, seemingly enjoying the breeze.

Dar said: 'I usually take the dogs out for a ride in the evening as part of their workout routine, and they love it.'

Some dogs enjoy the wind in their fur and have a remarkable sense of smell, with up to 300 million scent receptor cells in their noses.

The smells of new places, like parks or neighbourhoods, can be exciting for dogs. The air rushing past them with the windows down - or in this case, on a ride - provides a thrilling sensory experience.
