05/10/2024 - Rome, Italy. Pro-Palestine protesters march as one of the demonstrators waves the flag of the Palestinian Youth in Italy during the pro-Palestine rally in Rome. Thousands of people from Rome and various parts of Italy participated in the pro-Palestine demonstration two days before the anniversary of October 7 despite the ban on demonstrations issued by the Rome Police Headquarters. A demonstration that divided the Palestinian community: the Arab-Palestinian Democratic Union and the Palestinian Youth Movement in Italy participated while the Palestinian Community of Rome and Lazio and the Palestinian Students Movement in Italy preferred to respect the ban. Some hooded protesters attacked the police who responded by charging the demonstrators who were attacking them.
