Gender reveal fails when party popper fails to blast
A couple's party popper failed to blast in an amusing gender reveal blunder.
Deocora Barril and her boyfriend Jaylord Valdez gathered their friends and family to join them find out whether their future child will be a girl or boy.
However, the pair had difficulty twisting the confetti cannon, which was supposed to reveal the colours to them in Abra, the Philippines, on December 4.
Footage shows pregnant Deocora and Jaylord trying to turn the defective poppers. They expected the reveal to blast confetti but laughed instead with their guests at the amusing fail.
Deocora said: 'The only person who knew the gender was my youngest sibling, who bought the party poppers. We were so excited, but the party did not turn out as we imagined.'
The couple had no choice but to finally open the ultrasound result, which indicated they would have a baby boy.
Gender reveal parties often involve unique and creative ideas, such as exploding confetti, colour-coded fireworks, or themed games, which make the event enjoyable and memorable for expecting parents and their loved ones.
