Woman uses plastic glove to catch frog in China
This is the amusing moment a woman used a plastic glove to catch a frog in China.
The passerby spotted the amphibian in the middle of the road, prompting her to rescue and move it to safety in Minhang, Shanghai, on November 9.
Footage shows the kindhearted local wearing a transparent plastic bag as a makeshift glove to carefully pick up the animal.
However, as she attempted to lift it, the frog let out a series of peculiar sounds resembling a wailing baby.
Moments later, she managed to transport the frog to the nearby plants. She then disposed of the plastic.
Research has concluded that most frogs produce toxic secretions. These animals mainly use these poisons as a defense mechanism against predators, making them dangerous to swallow.
Frogs and toads are also known to spread Salmonella to humans.
