Chinese artisan crafts lifelike crayfish from sugar
On November 27, 2024, in Shaanxi Province, located in northwestern China, a skilled artisan demonstrated how to create a realistic crayfish using white sugar.
This special sugar, resembling pliable clay, can be shaped into various solid forms and even colored.
Wearing gloves and using small tools and a beverage for detailing, the artisan meticulously crafted the crayfish. The result was astonishingly lifelike, complete with intricate details like the crayfish’s veins. It looked more like a delicate art piece than an edible creation.
