"The Italian chamber of commerce, the mission, is to stay close on the territory with the company, but not only with Italian companies, also with Chinese companies that are doing business in China with Italy, but also bring in Chinese companies from China to Italy, because now is the moment to outbound-inbound collaboration. More collaboration, more business.
The advantages for Italian companies investing in Chongqing are for sure important in terms of cost of living, and support of the local government, but also new opportunities because Chongqing is a hub of heavy industry, automotive, automotive components.
So a lot of Italian companies, even some still in Italy can collaborate with Chongqing. Here we have a logistic hub very strong that can open the corridor through Europe, through the Middle East, in a very easy way, with the train, but not only train. Chongqing invested a lot in this.
