An expat jumped into the road to stop a car that was 'scaring his pet dogs' in Hong Kong.

Dashcam footage shows the driver manoeuvring through a residential area when the man suddenly blocked him from passing on January 10.

The pet owner and his three dogs stood on the motorway. He can be seen angrily pointing his finger at the car owner.

The driver then decided to find another route and reversed on the road.

The car owner recounted that he was stopped by the man, who said he was driving too fast, scaring his dogs.

The driver said: 'He wanted me to apologise because my car was too loud. I was just driving below 50 km/h. This kept going for eight minutes, so I reversed my car and avoided him rather than compromise.'
