Instead, in the spot where he had been sleeping, she found a rabbit plush toy. Confused and upset, the girl thought her dad had "turned into" the toy, triggering an emotional meltdown. Crying and calling out for her dad, her wails quickly brought him rushing back to comfort her.

According to her father, Mr. Zheng, he had been lying beside his children to help them fall asleep. Once they were soundly sleeping, he placed the toy where he had been and went to sleep in his own room next door. Hearing his daughter’s cries, he returned to reassure her and stayed with the children for the rest of the night. Touched by his daughter's emotional reaction, he shared how it reminded him of the immense trust and reliance children place in their parents.
