STORYLINE:
The 2025 Spring Festival cruise travel rush at Tianjin International Cruise Home Port in north China kicked off on Saturday, as the Liberian-flagged cruise ship "Dream" set sail with approximately 1,600 passengers on a six-day international voyage from Tianjin to Sasebo and Jeju.
To ensure efficient customs clearance for cruise passengers during the busy travel period, the Dongjiang Border Inspection Station in Tianjin has opened both manual and expedited channels.
Special lanes have been set up in advance for elderly and mobility-impaired passengers, aiming to meet passenger needs, reduce waiting times, and ensure a smooth and swift clearance process for all travelers.
It is reported that during this year's travel rush, 16 international cruises will enter and exit Tianjin, with an expected total of over 30,000 passengers.
