A father and daughter duo teared up a Shrek-themed rave with dad dressed up in a full body Puss in Boots costume.

Travis Molison, 45, and his daughter Autumn Molison, 23, danced into the night at a Shrek-themed rave he had found online.

Travis suggested they go together while Autumn was visiting for the holidays.

The pair bought their respective costumes online for roughly £70 ($125 CAD) each.

Autumn was dressed as the 2001 film's villain Lord Farquaad and Travis rocked the dancefloor adorned head to toe in a Puss in Boots onesie.

Autumn's cousin Brodi - dressed in homemade Shrek costume - also joined the fun.

Autumn, a part-time respiratory fit tester from Vancouver, Canada, said: "It was so fun!"

"We've been to some concerts and shows before and always have a good time."

"My dad had a tonne of fun."
