Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola spoke to the media following his side’s 3-1 win over Club Brugge, a result that secured his side a tough assignment against Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the play-off round of the UEFA Champions League.

Raphael Onyedika gave the visitors a shock lead in the first-half, but Mateo Kovacic levelled the score shortly after the break.

The home side took the lead just after the hour mark after Joel Ordonez accidentally turned a Josko Gvardiol cross into the back of his own net, before Savinho sealed the result with a third goal for City in the 78th minute.

City placed 22nd in the 36-club table, with teams placed from 9th to 24th qualifying for the play-off round.
