On January 28th, Chinese New Year's Eve, in Huainan, Anhui, Ms. Xu and her family set off a unique firework called "Little Dog Pooping." When ignited, the firework mimics the dynamic process of a dog relieving itself.

It is understood that the effect is closely related to the chemical reactions within the firework. Specifically, it may utilize a reaction similar to the "Pharaoh's Snake." The firework likely contains substances such as mercury thiocyanate. When lit, these chemicals undergo rapid decomposition, producing large amounts of gas and heat. The sudden gas expansion creates a visual effect resembling a dog pooping.

It is important to note that mercury thiocyanate and similar compounds may release toxic gases during decomposition. Therefore, the manufacturing and use of such fireworks must strictly follow safety regulations.
