Puente la Reina de Jaca, Spain - February 07, 2025 A snowplow plunged 15 meters into the Aragón River on Saturday after veering off the road in Puente la Reina de Jaca. The driver, the only occupant, was able to exit the vehicle on his own and received immediate assistance from emergency responders. The Huesca Provincial Firefighters received the call at 9 a.m., deploying a crew from the Sabiñánigo fire station, alongside Civil Protection, Guardia Civil, and medical personnel from 061. The snowplow had been part of the snow removal operation that began at 5 a.m. to clear snowfall in the Aragonese Pyrenees. Despite the severity of the accident, the driver was unharmed and safely assisted by the response team at the scene.
