Andersen Air Force Base, Guam - February 11, 2025 U.S. Indo-Pacific – A pair of Royal Australian Air Force F-35A Lightning IIs successfully conducted aerial refueling with a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker on February 11, 2025, as part of Exercise Cope North 2025. The mission, which took place over the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility, highlighted the collaboration between the U.S. and Australia to enhance military integration. The exercise aims to strengthen allied capabilities and improve security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region, ensuring the continued maintenance of a free and open environment. The aerial refueling was conducted by the 465th Aerial Refueling Squadron based at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.
