Recently, as temperatures gradually rise, the wild swans that have been wintering in the Yellow River wetland in Pinglu County, Shanxi Province, have begun their annual northward migration journey.
Covering an area of over 6,000 hectares, the Yellow River wetland in Pinglu boasts a mild climate and abundant food sources, providing an ideal wintering ground for swans.
In recent years, thanks to the continuous improvement of the ecological environment in the wetland, the number of swans migrating here for the winter has exceeded 10,000 annually.
