Lava and ash plume filmed over Mount Etna, Sicily
Footage of the north east crater of Mount Etna in Sicily, Italy erupting for the first time in 14 years earlier yesterday.
The filmer later wrote online: "During the day the Central Crater also erupted with a huge gas/ash plume and lava fountains visible from far away.
"Lava flow is still active inside Valle del Bove, a huge caldera on the east side of Etna volcano."
