Hilarious moment praying mantis climbs onto clubber's neck
This is the hilarious moment a praying mantis climbed onto a tourist's neck while he was clubbing on a Thai island.
The green bug was seen crawling on the back of a visitor's neck as he danced with other visitors in Krabi's Phi Phi Islands on January 15.
Footage shows the stealthy insect clinging onto the clubber's nape while he was busy with drinks and partying.
It appeared to move in different directions when the holidaymaker finally found out about it with the help of onlookers.
British tourist Zak Austin, from Essex, England, said: 'That was the funniest thing I have seen in Thailand. How could he not realise the mantis was on his neck?'
The mantis hopped away when the clubber touched his nape to check.
Praying mantis are skilled hunters that ambush prey, mainly eating other insects. Their front legs have sharp spines to grab and hold prey.
