Coolangatta, Australia - March 07, 2025 Further emergency and evacuation warnings have been issued in South East Queensland and northern NSW as Tropical Cyclone Alfred looms off the coast of Australia ahead of its forecast landfall on Saturday, bringing destructive and damaging weather. The Bureau of Meteorology is advising the category two weather system is now expected to cross over the Moreton Bay Islands before crossing the mainland, most likely between Noosa and Beenleigh. The centre of Alfred is expected to hit the mainland during the day on Saturday, currently approaching the east coast at just 7km/h. The tropical cyclone has overnight caused heavy rainfall and brought damaging winds over South East Queensland. Video Location: Australia,Coolangatta IG/daxon
