Ethiopia: CMG holds dialogue in Ethiopia on sharing opportunities from China's development

China Media Group (CMG) hosted a special event to discuss the opportunities brought about by China's high-quality development in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Tuesday. CMG President Shen Haixiong delivered a video address at the event dubbed "China in Springtime: Sharing Opportunities with the World Global Dialogue." Participants, including researchers from renowned Ethiopian think tanks, focused on discussions about China's advancement in scientific and technological innovation, the green transition of its economy, opening-up policy, and how technology cooperation with China can help African countries grow their economies. China's technological advancements and expertise are playing a pivotal role in Africa's economic transformation. Attendees at the event in Addis Ababa said they hope to see continued cooperation between China and Africa as both sides seek to accelerate the process of humanity's modernization. The event also introduced the progress of a screening activity featuring selected film and television programs on China-Africa ties since 2021.
