Los Angeles, United States - March 20, 2025 03/20/2025 03:00 am (GMT-0700) DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Police in Los Angeles responded to a reported break-in early Thursday morning near the intersection of 16th Street and Los Angeles Avenue. Officers arrived on the scene and located a black BMW parked nearby. It remains unclear whether the suspects were inside the vehicle or in the vicinity. Two individuals were detained and are believed to be connected to the incident. Officers conducted a thorough search of the area and confirmed that no one was inside the business. An officer, speaking off camera, indicated that the location appears to be a marijuana shop, though the legality of the establishment has not been confirmed. Preliminary reports suggest that the suspects attempted to access the shop through the roof but were unsuccessful. Additionally, a crowbar was found in the alley adjacent to the business. The shop owner arrived to assess the damage. Officers searched the black BMW and towed it for evidence.
