Gaza - March 23, 2025 IDF forces began operating in recent hours and completed the encirclement of the Tel Sultan neighborhood in Rafah. The activity is intended to destroy infrastructure in the area, with the goal of deepening control and expanding the security area in the southern Gaza Strip. The forces surrounded the area during the night, attacked and killed several soldiers, and raided an infrastructure that had been used in recent months as a command and control complex for soldiers from the Hamas organisation. IDF forces allow civilians to evacuate the combat zone for their safety through organised routes. IDF forces continue to operate against organizations in the Gaza Strip in order to protect the citizens of the State of Israel.
