Los Angeles, United States - January 28, 2026 01/28/2026 01:10 am GMT-0800 JEFFERSON PARK, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles police and fire departments responded to a report of a shooting on the 3600 block of 6th Avenue. According to initial reports, officers arrived to find an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the chest. According to an officer on the scene, two males, both approximately 18 years old, were in a room inside the residence when a gun was discharged. It is unclear whether one male shot the other or if the discharge was accidental. When the gun went off, the second male fled the location. He was described as wearing a hoodie and sweatpants and was last seen at the rear of the house. There are no additional details at this time.
