French Bulldog sleeps through earthquake shaking buildings in Thailand
A French Bulldog slept through an earthquake as their home shook in Thailand.
The pooch was dozed off on the sofa when the tremors began, so his owner rushed to the living room to check on him in Pathum Thani on March 28.
However, the Frenchie's owner was amused to have found him deeply asleep, appearing to be unfazed by the shaking.
Footage shows the dog sprawled out on the couch, undisturbed by the movement. The dog can be heard snoring loudly during the natural disaster.
The window shutters were swaying behind, showing the strength of the tremors.
The US Geological Survey said the quake struck at a depth of 10 kilometres (six miles) around 50 kilometres (30 miles) east of Monywa.
Residents ran from their homes when they felt the tremors at around 1:20 pm local time. In Myanmar, at least 1,600 people were killed and more than 4,000 injured.
The quake destroyed buildings, bridges, and dams, leaving many areas in ruins. Communication remains difficult as mobile networks are down, and access to electricity and the internet is limited.
