Pool water was spotted spilling from a building as an earthquake jolted the Thai capital.
Footage shows gallons of water cascading from a high-rise complex as a powerful 7.7-magnitude quake struck central Myanmar today.
Terrified residents were seen rushing outside as buildings swayed in Bangkok, the capital, at around 1:20 p.m. local time.
Debris was seen falling from several high-rise buildings.
The US Geological Survey said the tremor struck at a depth of 10 kilometres (six miles), and was centred in Myanmar, around 50 kilometres (30 miles) east of Monywa City.
Many buildings were evacuated as they swayed in the rare quake.
