A passenger on a flight to Sydney recording another plane landing simultaneously on a parallel runway.

The filmer said: "I travel to Sydney frequently for work and on this day in particular we were landing from the northern end of the airport. I was in a 737 and when I looked out the window there was an A350 approaching Sydney at the same time as us on the parallel runway.

"I always sit in the window seat but this day I forgot to choose my seat prior to boarding so was stuck with an aisle seat. In hindsight, I think the window frames the video perfectly and shows that I was in a plane as well and it isn’t drone footage.

"I was very fortunate that the couple sitting beside me sat back so all 3 of us could enjoy something we’ve never seen before. I’ve flown in and out of Sydney some 30+ times in the last 12 months and never seen this before. It was mesmerising to say the least."
