This is the hilarious moment a grandmother toppled backward as she tried to sit on a sun chair.

Priwech Khamnakh, 64, tumbled to the ground when she attempted to rest on the chaise lounge in a courtyard in Udon Thani, Thailand, on March 7.

CCTV footage shows the pensioner carrying the brown dog, lounging on the furniture before sitting on it.

She then settled into the chair and leaned back on the headrest, putting her weight on it, causing the chair to fall over with her.

Priwech screamed for help, prompting her daughter, Pii Dokaor, to rush outside.

In another clip, the elderly woman can be seen laughing at the comical mishap while still on the ground.

Pii said: 'My mother would lie down to rest after gardening. Normally, she never sleeps outside and lets the dog rest instead. When I heard her yelling, I immediately checked on her, and she was not hurt.'
