This is the hilarious moment a toddler squinted after trying a sour soup for the first time.

Riri, the one-year-old boy, scrunched up his face when he tasted Sinigang soup at a restaurant in Bohol, the Philippines, on April 1.

Footage captured by Karen Quiachon shows the child sitting in a highchair, eagerly opening his mouth to sample the tangy dish.

After trying just a small amount, he immediately grimaced, his eyes adorably twitching from the sour taste.

Karen said: 'While we were eating, my nephew wanted to try everything. I asked my sister if it was okay to give him some, and she said just a little. I didn't expect his reaction, so I grabbed my camera to record because he was so cute.'
