Protesters marched against President Donald Trump's anti-corruption drive in New York.

Footage shows thousands of activists peacefully taking to the streets on Saturday, April 5.

The demonstration was part of the national 'Hands Off!' movement, which opposes the Trump administration's recent policies, including rooting out corruption and wasteful spending.

Organisers said the rally began in Bryant Park, proceeded along Fifth Avenue, and concluded at Madison Square Park, shutting down part of Midtown Manhattan.

The rally followed Trump's 'Liberation Day' tariff announcement, which led to paper losses on stock markets and sparked concerns about a potential trade war.

Protests took place in every state, including New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, as part of a national day of action.
