Anti-Iranian regime protesters held a rally in Amsterdam as the United States considered military action.

Members of the Iranian community and their supporters gathered at Dam Square, waving flags and marching through the streets in the Netherlands.

Footage shows demonstrators chanting and holding placards, shouting in unison 'Long live the Shah' on January 14.

The demonstration happened alongside similar events in The Hague, Paris, Berlin, and London, expressing support for the nationwide uprising in Iran and calling for regime change.

Anti-government demonstrations started in Iran on December 28, with human rights groups reporting that at least 2,571 people have been killed.

Many protesters are calling for the return of Iran's last king, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, who was ousted in 1979, marking the start of hardline Islamic laws.
