Thomas Muller will end an incredibly successful 25-year spell with Bayern Munich when the current season reaches its conclusion.

The 35-year-old has lifted 33 titles in a quarter-of-a-century at the club, including 12 Bundesliga crowns and two Champions League titles, while also winning the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2012 with Germany.

Muller, who claimed the Golden Boot at the 2010 World Cup, could finish his stay in Munich with even more silverware, with Bayern leading the Bundesliga standings, into the last eight of the Champions League and heading to the USA this summer for the Club World Cup.

The Bavaria-born forward will play his final games for Bayern at the 32- tournament, while the club have also announced that they will hold a testimonial for their departing star.
