An adorable baby entered his safari-themed birthday party venue riding an electric toy truck.

Footage shows Nikolai wearing a khaki brown forest ranger costume while sitting in a remote-controlled car in Manila, the Philippines.

Nikolai nestled in the miniature vehicle's driver's seat while his mum and father walked alongside him.

The youngster's father held the joystick to control the jeep along the hall and into the front.

His aunt Jade Ramirez said: 'It was my nephew's first birthday.'

Family and guests clapped and sang along to a jolly nursery rhyme to welcome Nikolai into the room on March 30.

Lights and flowers decorated the ceiling, and large cut-outs of cartoonish animals on the walls completed the theme.
