Two in One Rescue!! Both of these Seal Pups were Entangled in trawler line but i managed to save them both.
While we were on a kayak tour at pelican point i spotted a seal pup with trawler line around its neck. I managed to catch it and get the line off and the pup almost stole my kayak in return. Haha
I then spotted another pup with trawler line and wasted no time as they where busy running into the ocean. If they are in the ocean it’s (almost) impossible to help them. This one was a bit bigger and he certainly put up more of a fight.
My heart goes out to all those poor seals who end up in such dangerous and deadly situations however we will always try our best to help and save as many as we possibly can.
