USC’s ice bucket challenge freezes stigma, sparks awareness
I was nominated for the USC speak your mind ice bucket challenge by friends but it means a lot more to me than just a silly video! Less than a year ago I was struggling with mental health problems. I was just graduating high school and I felt like my life was slipping away. Now I’m taking it one step at a time and getting better. I still have a long way to go but knowing I have people that love me helps a lot. I want everyone struggling to know they matter even if they can’t see it. Mental health is a big issue and one of the main cause of death in teens today. I hope that in the future we can figure out a way to help people struggling and give them resource and help to get better.
